Lazy day

Mom has spent the morning shopping, we went to the yummiest Italian bakery. its run by one of moms friends. We bought an almond cake, its half gone already! When We got home mom started writing to her new pen pal, Hmmmm I should get a pen pal too, later. ;) I spent the afternoon painting, crafting etc. Just a quiet day.

Weird Weather

We have had the strangest of weather lately. One moment Kirsten and I will be sitting outside enjoying the warm but brisk sunshine, ten minutes later we have to hurry inside because of the wind ,then rain and next thing we know, outside the window it is snowing!
It was rather exciting, but the snow wasn't the type for playing in, it was much too frothy. whatever the weather I can always turn to my toys for entertainment, Inside or out.

 

Speaking of toys, For getting an A on my Math test my mom bought my a new doll, she is the one I'm holding in my hand. This photo has all my favorite toys in it, either on my, behind me or on the desk.

. . .Ouch

Yesterday I was playing Count Dracula Zombie Invasion on the bed, at Sasha's house, I prepared my minions while Sasha went and put on her Pj's and brushed her teeth. I started a training session for my Fuzzy wuzzies cuddly horrifyingly evil monster slaves! MUHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!
They were almost done they're training, I was preparing they're graduation ceremony when an invasion of killer Frankensteins started invading the base camp!! they were everywhere, My Minions fought a great battle.
Let me just note before you look at the next picture, this was already late at night and I was hyped up on sugar ( I LOVE sweets!) So I was less than prepared when the Enemy had Ariel forces! They blew past my army like it was a leaf on the ground and they were the wind.

THUNK!!!

My "GRANDE ARMEE"  was no more. I had no choice, I must abando-

oops, I forgot, We stopped playing Napoleon. . .After s/he abandoned her men at the battle of the Nile. . .

Sasha must have heard my epic defeat and came just in time too.

She didn't even look surprised either, She just sat down, sat me up and started bandaging my ankle, which I had completely skinned :o To make me feel better Sasha used her special Hello-Kitty band-aids, they helped a lot.

We called my mom, she was Kind of mad but she wasn't surprised either, But you should have seen the look on Sasha's' moms face! She treated my injury as though I decapitated. . my ankle! We had to reassure her that it was nothing a little ice couldn't heal. ^.o

Mom took me to the doctor the next morning. This is how it sorta played out: Walk-in clinic.

"So how are you doing Lanie? Does it hurt? can you move your toes for me?"

After he examined me he took my mom into the hall.

"how did you saw she did this?"

. . .

"I see"

Well. . . ............ be fine if......................... okay.

They came back in after a few minutes. 

"Lanie you should be fine, it's only a sprained ankle you should be fine. but no more-"

"SCHOOL?!" I asked eagerly.

"No more Running, Jumping or P.E."

"WHAT?! for how long?

"At least two weeks"

!!!

I almost fainted on the spot but I didn't want to make a scene.

Sleepover with sasha.

I decided to invite sasha over for a sleep-over. We had loads of fun, talking, telling stories and even traded candies, :P I love candy :)

We stayed up way too late but it was worth it, we watched a few really scary movies on my laptop, My favorite was "House on haunted hill" It's black and white and had vincent price in it! I love his movies! we also watched the "adams family" 1 and 2 and "clue"
We both jump at the scary parts and like to laugh at the phoney effects (We like the old school effects though, like the ones in "house on haunted hill")

I also got to hear a bit of what sashas' old school was like. She told me that she used to go to a tiny school where everyone knew each other, abut when she was halfway through 3rd grade, her dads' work made them move across the city to a HUGE school that she hated. She got decent grades but just didn't fit in, I felt sorry for her :( She thinks that is her parents jumped on the move to Canada. Apparently She has a cousin that her parents want her to visit or something. O.o

My New Room.

I finally got a bigger room! I'm very happy. I used to live upstairs, but it got very hot in the summer time. I'm still not totally moved in yet. I still need my bulletin board, posters and we're looking for a seat, a bean-bag chair maybe? 

I've changed the lay-out around twice already, I might still move the bed and the desk, but overall I love it!

Here you can see my toy trunk, Ruthies bed, my backpack and parasol. My bed is always full of my favorite toys. Including ruthie, my blue teddy bear and Fio. I think the calender I got for christmas looks great above my bed, right were I can reach it.

This is my nightstand. It has three, very full, drawers. I keep my travel journal and and pink flashlight along with most of my art supplies inside. Above the drawers I have my beloved bunny clock, and my book of facts.
And my desk. I have finally unpacked all my books and little puppy dogs. We found the desk this week and I loved it from the moment I saw it. I knew it would work perfectly in my room.

 I plan I on having lots of sleep-overs this year ^.0

Christmas ^.^

We had such a great christmas! Kirsten and I didn't catch Saint Nicolas after all. . . I wonder why?

After we woke up Piper and Gia came over in their pretty holiday dresses. Pipers cloak has a jingle Christmas tree bell on each cord, cute huh?

First we opened our Stockings, We all got flashlights, in super cool colours. We all got gift certificates. I got one to Biuld-a-bear. I can't wait to go!

Then we all gathered around the Christmas tree and opened presents. 

Kirsten got a new Romper/ Playsuit. It's adorable and looks great on her. I also looks great with her new hat, socks and mittens. Kirsten got an American girl Bedding set for her doll Dianna, I was a little jealous. She also got a Hello-kitty Bobble head, She loves hello-Kitty!

Piper got a Build-a-bear and outfit and a gift card.

She also got a great winter hat, doesn't it look wonderful on her? I think it suits her great!

Gia got a new notebook from London, England. She also got a sweet faced kelly doll

and bed.

I Got a new pair of socks, kinda like Kirstens.  A pink Glow in the dark flashlight, marker set  And to my amazement I received my very own

American girl doll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so excited to have my very own AG doll! now Kirsten and I can play dolls together.

I also got an american girl Baking set and birthday set.

The birthday set is in the back and the Baking set is is in the front. 

I love christmas time! it's too bad Christmas is over, but we still have new years!

We finally finished the new bedding sets. With LOTS of help from gia.

All the sheets and most of the pillows are reversible to a new print, We love the new bedding! it's amazing

Sick day.

I woke up with a fever and a bad cough. So Gia insisted that I stay home. That's fine with me ^.^
I'm gonna catch up on some pokemon episodes and maybe even the DS games.
